SC dismisses plea against Telangana once again

Supreme-CourtSeemandhra supporters always knocked the courts whenever Center moved ahead over Telangana formation alleging the Govt’s haste in forming the new state dividing Andhra Pradesh. However in all the occasions High Court and even Supreme Court rejecting the pleas asked to come to them at appropriate time.

Once again seemandhra people approached Supreme Court and they felt that this time Court will hear their plea and give favorable ruling as Center sent a cabinet note to AP assembly for its opinion. But Supreme Court dismissing the petition branded it as premature.

A bench comprising of Justices HL.Dattu and SA.Bobde said ‘It is still premature. We cannot go into it till Andhra Pradesh assembly takes action’. The PIL was filed by advocate PV.Krishnaiah who requested the court to consider his plea as AP High Court dismissed his petition. Krishnaiah in his PIL alleged that the Centre is not consistent in its approach to divide states and cited UP and other states.
