Voice Vote on CM resolution-Marshals increased

Nadendla-ManoharSpeaker Nadendla Manohar is all set to put CM Kiran Kumar Reddy’s resolution notice to voice vote today. Kiran gave notice to speaker opposing state divison and send back the Telangana bill rejecting its tabling in the parliament.

Speaker fearing disruption and storm in the assembly with as many as 119 Telangana members getting ready to oppose voice vote tooth and nail requested police to rein in unruly members.

Legislature office requested police to station additional personnel to evit unruly members if needed. At present there are only 250 marshals. Telangana representatives cutting across party lines said We will not allow any resolution and continue our protest in the House till the CM’s notice is rejected,” They added “The CM is misleading the people and his legislators by giving them false promises. There is no way to the Seemandhra leaders can stop the T bill.”

CM Kiran too warned that he will take strict action if anyone opposes Speaker’s decision and insults him.
